Amanda J. Ahmed Selected for the Class of 2018, Leadership Development Program
Frisco, Texas – July 1, 2018 – Amanda J. Ahmed, MA, EdM, CCC-SLP, has been selected to participate in the 2018 Health Care Cohort of the Leadership Development Program (LDP), year-long program in which leaders in the field of communicative disorders and sciences work in teams to develop new clinical initiatives in their workplace and communities.

Each program accepts 30 participants internationally, selected through a competitive application process. The program will kick off in July at the 2018 ASHA Connect Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 198,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists and speech-language pathologists. The LDP was designed by ASHA and seeks people who are motivated to influence professional issues in speech-language pathology and audiology through innovation and leadership.
